THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT

This appointment lasts for up to an hour and a half,

to allow time to talk about what brings you to counselling.

It is an opportunity to think about your difficulties, with an experienced counsellor,

and consider what will be most helpful to you.

The cost of the assessment appointment for the Bursary Scheme is £25

When you book your assessment, you will be asked to pay the full fee

as soon as possible to confirm the appointment.

This fee is non-refundable.

We accept cash or cheques,

which should be made payable to Sutton Counselling.

ONGOING COUNSELLING

Clients eligible for this scheme are asked to contribute the maximum that they can afford

on a scale between £10 and £18 per session.

It is important to consider how much of that you would be able to pay,

bearing in mind your income and commitments,

and remembering that the work of Sutton Counselling depends upon client fees.

A preliminary discussion will take place at the initial assessment

but the fee will be agreed with your counsellor at the first appointment.

Please note:

Payment is required for sessions missed or cancelled by the client.
